During this morning's Big Ten Teleconference, Coach Lickliter provided an 'update' on injured Hawkeyes' Cyrus Tate and Jeff Peterson. Iowa's next game is not until Sunday against Michigan, and the status of both players for that game is still up in the air. Via Doc's Office:
“If we had to play today, I’m not sure either one would be available,” Iowa Coach Todd Lickliter said Monday. “There’s progress being made, and we’re hopeful with the week off, maybe they both be available on Sunday. There’s no guarantee on that.” Tate has missed 10 of Iowa's last 11 games with a high ankle sprain, and Peterson missed Saturday's game vs Purdue after straining his hamstring at Wisconsin last week. |
